This document is an impact assessment study focused on the Shikshak Pahal Program implemented by Bodh Shiksha Samiti in Alwar, India. The assessment aims to quantify the success of various projects in achieving intended outcomes, evaluate program effectiveness, identify success stories and challenges, and provide recommendations for future initiatives. The study employs the OECD-DAC framework as its evaluation basis, which includes components like relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact. A mixed-methods approach is utilized, combining quantitative and qualitative data collected through structured surveys and in-depth interviews. The assessment highlights the educational challenges in rural areas, particularly regarding foundational literacy and numeracy, as well as high dropout rates among older students. The results yielded insights into the learning levels of students in government schools, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions to improve educational outcomes.
