Movicon.NExT SCADA Platform for Building Management

This document is a case study detailing the implementation of the Movicon.NExT SCADA platform for building management at the National Social Security Institute in Italy. The project aimed to address the challenges posed by the reconstruction of a major office due to earthquake damage, specifically focusing on reducing energy consumption across various building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and photovoltaics. The solution provided by Simet S.r.l. utilized the Movicon.NExT platform to create a centralized control system that manages over 3,200 tags across multiple systems.
