This case study details the collaboration between a leading luxury jewelry retailer and enVista for the design and implementation of a comprehensive warehouse management system (WMS). The retailer aimed to consolidate its distribution center operations, which had been separated for business-to-business and business-to-consumer order fulfillment, into a single facility. This decision was driven by the need to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs. enVista provided project management, system design, and testing services to ensure a smooth transition to the new Manhattan Active WMS. The project involved developing a strategic project plan, creating a new integration framework, and executing thorough software testing. The go-live process was conducted in three phases to facilitate feedback and adjustments. The results included a significant reduction in issues during the final phase and a swift return of operational control to the retailer's leadership, demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented solution.
