Bellevue City Cloud-Based Cashiering Solution Implementation

This document is a case study detailing the implementation of a cloud-based cashiering solution by the City of Bellevue, Washington. The city faced challenges with in-person bill payments, requiring residents to travel to multiple locations, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the existing cashiering solution was set to be unsupported, prompting the need for a new system that was PCI compliant and could centralize payments across various departments. Bellevue selected Euna Payments to address these issues, integrating the solution across five departments and four source systems. This integration allows residents to make payments at any department office and streamlines reporting and reconciliation for staff. The new cashiering technology improves accessibility for residents and enhances security by managing PCI compliance. The case study outlines the benefits of the new system, including increased flexibility for payments, simplified transaction management for staff, and potential cost savings through shared cashiering hardware.
