Expanding Community Impact Through Financial Education

This document is a case study detailing the collaboration between ORNL Federal Credit Union (ORNL FCU) and Everfi to enhance adult financial education through the ThrivePATH platform. The objective was to address the growing demand for accessible financial education among adults in East Tennessee. ORNL FCU faced challenges such as the absence of a centralized digital platform, limited content development capacity, and the need for mobile-friendly learning options. The partnership with Everfi resulted in the creation of a mobile-first platform that offers personalized learning experiences. The case study outlines the impact of ThrivePATH, highlighting increased engagement metrics, such as the rise in adult learners and active participation in financial education. The platform supports in-person workshops and aims to strengthen community trust while providing free financial wellness tools. Overall, the initiative reflects ORNL FCU's commitment to empowering individuals through lifelong financial education.
