This document is a case study detailing the partnership between SouthEast Bank and Everfi aimed at enhancing financial literacy education in Tennessee. Over the past decade, SouthEast Bank has focused on providing financial education to students and families, particularly in low- to moderate-income communities. The case study outlines the challenges faced due to the lack of a standardized curriculum for financial education in schools and the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It describes how SouthEast Bank leveraged Everfi’s flexible, standards-aligned financial education solution to address these challenges. The partnership has resulted in measurable outcomes, such as reaching 2,600 students and delivering over 6,800 hours of financial education during the 2024–2025 academic year. The document emphasizes the importance of tracking learning outcomes and the role of the program in supporting SouthEast Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act strategy. The case study concludes with future plans for deepening the commitment to financial education and community engagement.
