University Hospital Leipzig Case Study on Network Automation

This case study details the collaboration between University Hospital Leipzig (UKL) and Extreme Networks to automate hospital processes while ensuring high reliability and performance. UKL faced challenges in supporting a large number of users and devices, maintaining compliance with Federal Office of Information Security regulations, and minimizing downtime for critical medical applications. To address these issues, UKL implemented Extreme Wireless, Extreme Switching, and Extreme Control solutions, deploying over 1,000 access points and 500 switches across the campus.
