This case study details the implementation of the EzeScan Email Records Capture Solution by the City of Darebin to enhance their email processing capabilities. The local government authority, which employs over 1,300 staff, faced challenges with their previous capture system that could not efficiently handle the volume of emails received, averaging between 4,000 to 4,500 per month. The EzeScan solution was selected for its out-of-the-box integrations with Objective ECM and Infor Pathway, allowing for batch processing of emails and attachments similar to scanned documents. The deployment of EzeScan's Profiler has standardized council records and digitization requirements, automating tasks such as file naming, metadata application, and workflow triggering. As a result, the records staff have significantly reduced the time required for capturing and profiling information, enabling them to focus on more critical record-keeping tasks.
