This case study details the modernization of network and voice services at Blue Water Industries (BWI), a manufacturer operating across eight states in the southeastern United States. BWI faced challenges with outdated legacy systems, including expensive and unreliable copper T1 circuits and analog phone lines, which resulted in frequent downtime and poor customer experiences. To address these issues, BWI partnered with Windstream Enterprise to implement modern, IP-based solutions, including SD-WAN Concierge and OfficeSuite UC. The transition aimed to unify their communication and connectivity tools under a single provider, enhancing reliability and productivity. Following the implementation, BWI reported significant improvements in employee productivity and customer satisfaction, as well as a reduction in network outages. The case study illustrates the importance of modernizing IT infrastructure to support business operations effectively and efficiently.
