This case study details OctoAI's integration of Frontegg to enhance its identity management capabilities. OctoAI, a generative AI platform, faced challenges with its existing homegrown identity tool, which lacked essential features for a new product launch. The Vice President of Engineering, Itay Neeman, identified the need for functionalities such as self-service sign-up, single sign-on (SSO), token generation, social logins, self-service management, transactional emails, and multi-factor authentication. After evaluating various customer identity vendors, OctoAI determined that Frontegg offered the most suitable enterprise-ready features. Following the integration, OctoAI reported significant improvements, including increased user engagement with tens of thousands of users signing up and utilizing Frontegg-generated tokens for millions of API calls daily. The transition allowed OctoAI to concentrate on core product development while ensuring scalability for future enhancements.
