This document is a project profile detailing the roofing restoration efforts at Normandy High School in Parma, Ohio. The project, which is set for completion in August 2025, involves the application of GAF High Solids Silicone Roof Coating to the school's two large domes and classroom wing. The domes serve as navigation aids for pilots and require a precise color match to maintain FAA standards. The project faced challenges including structural issues and the need for safety measures due to the unique shape of the domes. West Roofing Systems, Inc. was selected for this project based on their long-standing relationship with the Parma City School District and their expertise in roofing solutions. The restoration process included the removal of saturated spray polyurethane foam, power washing, and the application of a silicone coating to enhance durability. The roofing system achieved a fire rating of Class A and comes with a 20-year renewable warranty, ensuring long-term protection for the school.
