This case study details the collaboration between Gamber-Johnson and Server, a manufacturer of commercial-grade food service equipment, to facilitate a significant software upgrade. Server, which has been rapidly growing since its inception in 1949, recognized the need to enhance its workflow during a new software rollout. The upgrade required secure installation of tablets on forklifts to provide direct access to the new systems for employees. Gamber-Johnson partnered with Stoffel, a material handling company, to support Server's needs. The case study outlines how Gamber-Johnson recommended the Dell Latitude 12” Rugged Docking Station and other mounting solutions to ensure secure and ergonomic installation on forklifts. Following the successful installation, Server reported improved process efficiency and safety, as forklift operators could access technology without leaving their vehicles. The case study emphasizes Gamber-Johnson's capability to deliver similar solutions to other manufacturing companies aiming to enhance operational efficiency.
