This case study details the implementation of game-based learning methodologies at Colorado State University Global (CSU Global) to enhance the teaching of soft skills in the Organizational Leadership program. The primary challenge faced by the program was the difficulty in assessing soft skills outside of real-world environments. The partnership with Game Strategies allowed students to engage in immersive learning experiences through simulations and gamification. Feedback from students indicated a high level of applicability of the games to their professional lives, with 97.5% rating the games positively. The study outlines the steps taken to integrate these games into the curriculum, including weekly gameplay sessions that fostered student engagement and collaboration. The results demonstrated a significant increase in knowledge retention and self-awareness among students, with an estimated 80% improvement in their understanding of leadership concepts. The ongoing partnership aims to further customize educational games to enhance learning outcomes.
