This case study presents the implementation of Genea’s On-Demand HVAC Service in a 650,000 square foot office building, which resulted in a 355% return on investment. The building, which had an 89% occupancy rate, initially questioned the effectiveness of an after-hours HVAC program. However, after adopting Genea's software, the property management team observed a 45% increase in revenue, amounting to $45,502 above the baseline revenue of $101,980. The study outlines the significant energy savings achieved by automating HVAC services, which allowed tenants to request service only when necessary, leading to an additional $27,482 in savings. Furthermore, the implementation improved process efficiency, saving the property team $18,925 in labor costs. Tenant satisfaction also increased as tenants appreciated the control over their comfort and visibility into energy costs. Overall, the case study details the quantifiable and qualitative benefits of the On-Demand HVAC Service, demonstrating its impact on revenue, efficiency, and tenant experience.
