This case study details the implementation of the Genetec Security Center at Puy du Fou, a major theme park in France. The park, which spans 740 acres and hosts over 2.5 million visitors annually, sought to enhance its security measures to ensure a safe environment for guests. The security team centralized video surveillance and access control, initially connecting 120 cameras and expanding to 490 cameras and 80 access control readers. The flexible architecture of the Security Center allowed for the integration of various technologies, including drones for nighttime shows and a QR code access system for vendors. The case study outlines how the platform supports real-time monitoring and improves operational efficiency, even during the off-season. Additionally, it discusses plans for replicating this successful security model in future projects, including international expansions. The case study emphasizes the importance of a scalable security solution in enhancing guest experiences and maintaining safety.
