This case study documents the efforts of a large non-profit health system in the Western United States to enhance the speed and reliability of Oracle Health EHR, which is critical for operations across more than 28 hospitals and 300 clinics. The initiative was prompted by clinician dissatisfaction, identified through KLAS Research surveys, which highlighted significant performance issues. To address these concerns, the health system implemented a 45-day EHR Speed & Reliability Improvement Program in collaboration with Goliath Technologies. This program utilized advanced monitoring and troubleshooting analytics to gather empirical data on clinician experiences. The results indicated a 17% increase in clinician experience scores, reflecting improvements in speed and reliability. The case study emphasizes the importance of data-driven approaches in identifying root causes of performance issues and fostering collaboration between clinical and IT teams. Continuous monitoring and proactive management were established to ensure ongoing improvements in clinician satisfaction and patient care outcomes.
