This case study details the networking and unified communications (UC) solutions implemented by Bank Alfalah, a prominent retail bank in Pakistan. The bank faced challenges with its previous networking setup, which included outdated Netgear routers and analog Panasonic phones, leading to poor voice quality, inadequate coverage, and difficulties in handling multiple concurrent clients. To address these issues, Bank Alfalah adopted Grandstream's IP PBX UCM server and Wi-Fi access points, enhancing their communication infrastructure. The study outlines the benefits of the new system, including cost-effectiveness, efficient communication across branches, scalability, and improved customer service through robust Wi-Fi connectivity. The deployment included various Grandstream products such as GWN access points, managed network switches, and IP phones, which collectively improved employee efficiency and satisfaction. The case study concludes with the positive impact of the new setup on the bank's operations, emphasizing the importance of reliable networking and UC solutions in facilitating secure transactions and effective communication.
