Wi-Fi Network Upgrade at Heritage Village Resort

This case study details the challenges faced by Heritage Village Resort and Spa in Goa regarding their Wi-Fi network. The resort, accommodating 150-200 visitors at a time, experienced significant connectivity issues, with many guests reporting slow internet speeds and frequent disconnections. The previous networking solution, TP-Link Deco Mesh Routers, was inadequate for the high volume of users, leading to unstable connections and security concerns. To address these issues, the resort decided to upgrade to Grandstream's Wi-Fi 6 Access Points, specifically the GWN7664 and GWN7664LR models. The installation aimed to enhance network stability, speed, and security while providing centralized management through GWN.Cloud. The new access points support advanced features such as MU-MIMO technology and QoS settings, ensuring efficient bandwidth allocation for both guests and staff. Following the upgrade, the resort reported improved internet performance, allowing seamless connectivity throughout the property, including outdoor areas, and enhancing overall guest experience.
