Ziegler Group Production Plant Success Story

This case study details the successful establishment of a production plant for flexible wood fiber insulation boards by Ziegler Group, completed between October 2021 and October 2022. The initiative aimed to support the company's vision of creating 100% ecological wooden houses by producing sustainable insulation boards from wood fibers. Ziegler Group partnered with Grenzebach BSH GmbH to supply the necessary machinery and expertise. Despite challenges such as a change of location, tight construction timelines, and disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was completed within one year. The new production line boasts a capacity of 2 million m³/year, with 1.5 million m³/year dedicated to flexible insulation boards. The line features advanced technology, including a new fiber blending system and energy-efficient production methods, contributing to high-quality output and flexibility in product specifications. This achievement positions Ziegler Group as a leader in the sustainable insulation materials sector.
