This research article presents an exploratory pre-post pilot and feasibility study aimed at assessing the effectiveness and feasibility of an adapted Test-and-Exercise (T&E) home-based exercise program for individuals with prodromal or mild Alzheimer's disease. The study involved twelve participants who engaged in an 8-week exercise program, which included sessions with a physiotherapist and independent practice with caregivers. The primary focus was on evaluating basic functional mobility and executive functions before and after the intervention. The study met all four feasibility criteria, including recruitment opportunity and participation agreement rate. Results indicated small effect sizes for functional mobility and small to moderate effect sizes for executive functions. The findings suggest that while the T&E program may have potential benefits for this population, further large-scale studies are necessary to draw definitive conclusions regarding its effectiveness and to explore necessary adaptations for broader implementation.
