Recruitment and Attrition in Panel Surveys of Undocumented Migrants

This research article explores the challenges of recruiting and retaining hard-to-reach populations, specifically undocumented migrants, in longitudinal studies. It discusses the factors affecting participation and attrition, and presents strategies to enhance engagement and trust. The findings are based on the Parchemins study conducted in Geneva, highlighting the importance of resource investment in achieving better survey outcomes.
