This case study details the digital transformation journey of TEGA - Technische Gase und Gastechnik GmbH, a German energy supplier. The company aimed to upgrade its network to support digital innovation and establish a managed service with clear service level agreements (SLAs). The solution involved the implementation of Aruba Central, a cloud-based infrastructure, and a managed Network-as-a-Service provided by Bechtle AG. This transition allowed TEGA to relieve its in-house network operations teams and deliver seamless mobility across five locations. The outcomes included a consistent management of the dispersed network, simplified onboarding of new acquisitions, and preparation for a full NaaS operating model. The case study also highlights TEGA's strategic focus on expanding into renewable energy and enhancing operational efficiencies through digitalization, such as remote monitoring of gas canisters and logistics management. The collaboration with Bechtle has enabled TEGA to maintain a modern, secure network while directing resources towards digital transformation efforts.
