This case study outlines the implementation of a modern parking management system for the Raspberry Hospitality Group's hotels in the Netherlands. The objective was to enhance control over parking facilities, starting with the Best Western Hotel Zaan Inn, Best Western Hotel Amsterdam, and Hotel Spaander. The previous systems were outdated, necessitating a solution that provided quick and secure access for guests while improving operational efficiency for hotel staff. The new system incorporates License Plate Recognition technology for ticketless access, an Automated Pay Station, and a self-service booking platform called JPass. This system allows guests to autonomously book parking spots and manage their access, alleviating the burden on hotel staff. The centralized Janus Management System integrates data from parking stations and cameras, enabling real-time monitoring and analytics of parking operations. The implementation aims to provide a flexible and user-friendly solution that meets the diverse needs of hotel guests and transient parkers.
