Summary
This document is a test report evaluating the HYAS Protect solution, commissioned by HYAS and conducted by AV-TEST. The evaluation focuses on the effectiveness of HYAS Protect in blocking malicious URLs and phishing websites while minimizing false positives. The test was performed in February 2023 and involved a total of 3,224 malicious samples, including links to portable executable malware, non-PE malware, and phishing URLs. The report details the testing methodology, which ensured that HYAS had no prior knowledge of the samples or influence over the testing process. Results indicated that the detection rates for PE malware URLs improved from 87.30% to 87.41%, non-PE malware URLs from 84.70% to 84.89%, and phishing URLs from 78.78% to 80.12% between the initial test and a retest conducted four hours later. The false positive rate remained low throughout the testing, indicating a reliable performance of the HYAS Protect solution.
