This case study details the implementation of Imprivata clinical and professional services at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The primary objective was to optimize clinical workflows and improve access to patient information through digital applications. The Trust faced challenges related to IT staffing and skills gaps, which hindered the effective deployment of digital healthcare programs. Imprivata's solutions, including Enterprise Access Management with single sign-on and multifactor authentication, were employed to provide secure access to clinical applications while maintaining workflow efficiency. The results included rapid deployment across two main hospitals, securing access for approximately 9,000 users, and enhancing clinician productivity. The case study outlines how the engagement of experienced Imprivata specialists facilitated the planning and implementation process, ultimately leading to improved patient care and streamlined operations. Additionally, the Trust plans to extend these solutions to smaller community locations, highlighting the scalability of the approach.
