This case study outlines the implementation of a 4-stage fraud screening protocol by a direct sourcing Managed Service Provider (MSP) to enhance recruitment processes for a client in the government services sector. The client faced challenges with below-target fulfillment rates and a high incidence of fraudulent candidates affecting placement quality. To address these issues, the MSP deployed dedicated resources to rebuild trust and improve delivery momentum. The screening protocol includes phone and email verification, mandatory video calls, a Glider test with IP and ID validation, and a real job preview. As a result of these measures, the fulfillment rate improved significantly, and the number of fake candidates decreased dramatically within one year. Additionally, the MSP's efforts led to an increase in starts from 205 to 310, achieving a 92% fill rate, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented strategies in overcoming recruitment challenges.
