This case study details the implementation of the InfiniBox data storage solution at Gerichte Basel-Stadt, a non-profit Court of Justice in Switzerland. Faced with increasing demands for performance and capacity from nearly 500 users, the IT team sought a scalable and user-friendly storage infrastructure to support various court departments. The selected InfiniBox solution addressed the need for high availability and near-zero latency access to mission-critical applications. The case study outlines the challenges faced during the procurement process, including budget constraints and the necessity for seamless upgrades. It highlights the advantages of Infinidat's flexible pricing model, which allowed the court to manage data storage growth effectively while controlling costs. The implementation resulted in enhanced performance, guaranteed uptime, and built-in redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted access to systems and data for both internal and external users. Future plans include deploying an Active-Active solution to further enhance data availability and reliability.
