CEAT Tyres Plant Digitization Overview

This document is a technical report detailing the digital transformation of CEAT Tyres through the integration of its equipment ecosystem into the PlantOS™ Manufacturing Intelligence Platform. The report outlines the scope of digitalization across 51 areas, which includes critical equipment such as Banbury mixers, extruders, and curing presses, covering a total of 199 critical equipment. It describes the implementation of a 'Physics + AI' layer that monitors anomalies to reduce unplanned downtime and enhance equipment availability. The report also highlights the outcomes achieved, including the elimination of 2683 hours of unscheduled downtime and a production throughput of 5582.5 tons per hour at the CEAT Halol plant. Additionally, it mentions the partnership with Infinite Uptime, which has contributed to maximizing reliability and operational performance. The results presented are user-validated by CEAT Tyre’s engineering and operations teams, emphasizing the effectiveness of the PlantOS™ platform in achieving these outcomes.
