Early Warning System Development at Automox

This case study details the development of an early warning detection system at Automox, a cloud-native IT operations platform. The initiative aimed to enhance the Product Marketing team's ability to proactively monitor cybersecurity threats related to Automox products. Previously, the team operated reactively, relying on information from the board regarding new threats. The goal was to configure a system that utilized existing information sources to deliver timely alerts, allowing the team to respond proactively to potential security issues. The solution involved integrating new cybersecurity feeds into the Infodesk platform, which facilitated the monitoring of zero-day vulnerabilities. A filtered data stream was established to a Slack channel, enabling rapid communication of critical issues to stakeholders. This system streamlined the distribution of alerts and improved the overall response time to emerging threats. The collaboration with Infodesk has been recognized for its effectiveness in enhancing the team's operational capabilities and responsiveness.
