This case study outlines the implementation of InfoReady at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) to manage internal funding programs. The Division of Research faced challenges in coordinating multiple funding initiatives, including managing applications, reviews, notifications, and reporting across various tools. The need for a centralized program administration was critical to track outcomes such as publications and follow-on funding. InfoReady was adopted to streamline these processes, allowing the research office to launch funding competitions quickly, collect applications through a centralized portal, manage peer reviews, automate communications, and track long-term program impacts. The results of using InfoReady include faster setup and management of funding competitions, improved reporting on research outcomes, reduced administrative burdens, and greater transparency for faculty applicants. The case study highlights the effectiveness of InfoReady in enhancing the measurement of success for internal funding initiatives at UNLV.
