Halifax Health Business Intelligence Implementation Case Study

This case study details the implementation of a business intelligence (BI) environment at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida. The objective was to enhance operational reporting by leveraging data from various applications, including Meditech and Allscripts. Halifax Health faced challenges in creating user-friendly dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care and financial measures. The solution involved adopting ibi WebFOCUS, which facilitated the development of self-service applications and dashboards. The case study outlines how the BI environment, named the Business Related Actionable Information Network (BRAIN), enabled real-time data access and improved decision-making processes.
