MOLSA Success Story with ibi WebFOCUS

This case study details the collaboration between Israel's Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs (MOLSA) and Team Software to enhance data analysis and policy-making communication. The primary challenge faced by MOLSA was the inefficiency in data gathering and resolution with municipalities, which detracted from time spent on policy development. To address this, MOLSA sought a user-friendly interface for automatic data integration, validation, and publication in interactive reports. The solution involved implementing ibi WebFOCUS software, which enabled the creation of user-friendly dashboards and offline interactive reports. The dashboards facilitated better data sharing and allowed staff to focus on critical welfare issues. As a result, the ministry improved its operational efficiency and data reliability, ultimately enhancing service delivery to the population. The initiative received recognition, winning the 2021 award for the Most Outstanding Computerization Project in Israel in the BI and Reporting category. MOLSA aims to leverage this technology further to meet the evolving needs of its citizens.
