This case study details the collaboration between a leading U.S. Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and InfoVision to develop a cloud-native Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) platform utilizing AWS services. The project aimed to replace the client's legacy MVNO systems, which were inadequate for MVNE ambitions. The solution involved a fully serverless architecture designed to meet a strict five-month deadline for the first activation and SIM provisioning. Key components included the use of AWS API Gateway for API integration, Lambda and ECS/Fargate for serverless computing, and Terraform for infrastructure as code. The outcomes included 100% automation of the CI/CD pipeline, a 40% reduction in end-to-end testing cycle time through GitHub Copilot, and improved operational efficiency. The platform's design adhered to the AWS Well-Architected Framework, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with telecom regulations.
