Healthcare API Marketplace and Data Lake Implementation

This case study outlines the development of a cloud-based API marketplace and data lake for a prominent healthcare organization. The organization required a scalable solution to deploy, manage, and monetize APIs utilized by healthcare professionals and administrators. Additionally, they aimed to enhance data accessibility through web-harvesting of accurate hospital and physician data, which was essential for their data labs initiative. Infovision's solution included a secure backend API infrastructure and a user-friendly admin panel, implemented using AWS ECS Fargate to manage high traffic and ensure effective API monetization. Furthermore, a Data Lake was established to scrape, cleanse, and populate physician data from various sources, integrating Google Analytics for user activity tracking. The project resulted in 100% automation of API and data management processes, leading to a 43% reduction in operational costs and a 70% decrease in deployment and integration efforts.
