This case study details the transformation journey of PortmanDentex, a dental organization formed through the merger of Portman Dental Care and Dentex Health. The document outlines the challenges faced due to the rapid growth through acquisitions, including inefficiencies in finance processes and data accuracy issues across multiple systems. To address these challenges, PortmanDentex selected Oracle Cloud Applications and the Inoapps Evolve implementation methodology to standardize processes and improve operational efficiency. The phased approach began with the implementation of Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), followed by Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Procurement. Key requirements included timely access to data for decision-making, ease of onboarding new practices, and automation of workflows.
