High Performance Automated Welding Machine Case Study

This case study details the collaboration between EKT Mekatronik and Inovance Technology Europe to develop a high-performance automated welding machine. EKT Mekatronik, a Turkish specialist in custom automated welding solutions, sought an effective automation solution to ensure stable motion control across multiple axes for successful welding. The solution involved the integration of several Inovance products, including the AM600-CPU1608-TP motion controller and EtherCAT bus-based motion control systems capable of supporting up to 32 axes. The AM600 controller, paired with the IT7150E HMI, SV660N servo drive, and MS1H1 servo motors, provided high dynamic performance and simplified setup. The project resulted in enhanced accuracy of motion control, rapid response times, and efficient installation processes. The collaboration also emphasized the importance of expert support in addressing challenges during development. This case study illustrates the effectiveness of tailored automation solutions in achieving specific operational goals.
