Inovance Products for Micro Machine Automation

This case study details the collaboration between S3DEL, a French manufacturer of micromachines, and Inovance, a global industrial automation company. S3DEL selected various Inovance products, including the PA9000 CNC control, SV660N servo drive, MS1 servo motor, and MD200 AC drive, to meet the performance requirements of their compact 5-axis micromachine. The primary challenge was to fit all necessary electrical components into a limited space while maintaining high performance. Key considerations for S3DEL included energy efficiency, precision, speed of motion control, and the need for rapid product availability. The project successfully reduced energy consumption from 440V to 220V, minimized machine dimensions and weight, and improved mobility. The collaboration with Inovance's engineering team was highlighted as a crucial factor in the project's success, leading to a strong partnership for future endeavors. The case study emphasizes the importance of technical support and commitment to reducing carbon emissions in industrial automation.
