Testing Inovance EasyPLC Performance in Extreme Conditions

This document is a case study detailing the testing of Inovance's EasyPLC by Elpesoft, a Polish integration company. The objective of the testing was to evaluate the performance of the EasyPLC and GL20 I/O expansion modules under extreme temperature conditions, beyond the manufacturer's specified range. Elpesoft conducted a series of nine rigorous tests in a climate chamber, exposing the Easy320-0808TN controller model to temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C for 30 minutes each. The tests assessed various functionalities, including Modbus TCP communication, connection with an external HMI panel, and the operation of digital and analog inputs. The results confirmed that the EasyPLC operates effectively within both the declared specifications and the extended temperature range, demonstrating its robustness and reliability in harsh environments. The findings suggest that the EasyPLC can be a viable alternative to specialized equipment, offering significant advantages in terms of performance and availability.
