State of Student Success and Engagement in Higher Education

This report presents findings from the 2022 year-over-year research study on student success and engagement in higher education, specifically focusing on the Philippines. The research, conducted in collaboration with Hanover Research, surveyed 7,572 participants across 23 countries, with 469 respondents from the Philippines. The report identifies key trends affecting student success, including the importance of skill competency, work and career readiness, and holistic development. It highlights the shift in student priorities, with skill competency emerging as the most significant factor in 2022. The report also discusses the impact of socioeconomic factors, such as internet access and mental well-being, on student engagement. Additionally, it emphasizes the necessity for educational institutions to adapt to the evolving needs of students, particularly in leveraging technology for enhanced learning experiences.
