This case study outlines the collaboration between NWN, Intel, Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, and the Sean Ryan Communities of Care Initiative to enhance digital inclusion for youth in Greenmount East, Baltimore. The initiative focuses on providing access to AI-powered technology through the deployment of Intel-based AI PCs in a community lab, aimed at equipping children with essential AI and STEM skills. The AI PC as a Service (AI PCaaS) model offers a sustainable approach to technology adoption, allowing for predictable costs and continuous upgrades without significant upfront investments. The project addresses the challenges of inadequate IT resources and outdated technology in community labs, ensuring that youth have access to modern tools necessary for their educational and economic success. The launch event featured interactive workshops where local children engaged with AI concepts, demonstrating the initiative's potential impact on bridging the digital divide and fostering future opportunities in technology for underserved communities.
