This case study outlines the implementation of IntelePACS at the Fortius Clinic, a leading orthopaedic and sports injury clinic in London. Established in 2010, the clinic has rapidly expanded, now employing 50 orthopaedic surgeons and 12 radiologists. The original PACS system faced significant challenges, including poor integration with radiology information systems, limited compatibility with Mac computers, and frequent system outages. These issues hindered the clinic's ability to provide timely care to approximately 20,000 patients annually, including professional athletes. After deploying IntelePACS, the clinic reported substantial improvements in operational reliability, with zero system downtimes, and enhanced radiology workflows. The use of InteleViewer has facilitated easier access to patient images and reports for both radiologists and surgical staff. The case study emphasizes the importance of a robust imaging system in supporting the clinic's mission to deliver high-quality care to athletes and patients alike.
