Optimizing Tumor Selection for Drug Development

This case study details the collaboration between ZS and Intelligencia AI aimed at optimizing the tumor selection process for a global biopharmaceutical company's antibody-drug conjugate development. The biopharmaceutical company sought assistance due to its limited experience in evaluating 16 tumor types, each with multiple segments, to identify the most commercially attractive areas. ZS implemented Intelligencia AI's Portfolio Optimizer, which provided a comprehensive database, significantly reducing the analysis time from the typical four to six months to just over two months. The innovative platform enabled ZS to quickly extract key metrics related to ongoing clinical trials and competitive landscapes. By leveraging this data, ZS narrowed down the 60 tumor segments to 10, based on clinical and commercial feasibility. The collaboration successfully transformed the decision-making process, allowing for data-driven confidence in investment decisions within the oncology development space.
