The report describes the previous reliance on key-fob tokens for secure logins, which proved to be inconvenient due to their tendency to be lost or broken. The proposed solution involves implementing Microsoft UAG 2010 for secure VPN access, combined with MyID MFA and pattern authentication. This approach enhances security by allowing users to authenticate using patterns on their mobile devices, eliminating the need for additional hardware.
