This report is a comprehensive analysis of the state of Physics Education Research (PER) in higher education across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Funded by the Institute of Physics and authored by its Higher Education Special Interest Group, the report underscores the critical role of PER in enhancing the quality of physics education.
