IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) is the peak industry body for the Internet of Things (IoT) in Australia, representing over 500 organizations and 1,000 individual participants. The organization operates as a not-for-profit entity, aiming to advance IoT innovation and adoption across various sectors. Its mission includes fostering collaboration among industry, government, and research communities, while promoting evidence-based policies and regulations to drive economic growth and social benefits. The IoTAA focuses on several key areas, including sustainability, productivity, and trust in IoT applications. The organization is structured around a Board of Directors, an Executive Council, and a comprehensive work program that encompasses 13 workstreams. These workstreams are dedicated to various sectors such as smart infrastructure, agribusiness, energy, health, and transportation, and they facilitate the production of IoT whitepapers, guidelines, and educational resources. Through these initiatives, IoTAA aims to enhance decision-making, improve productivity, and contribute to Australia's economic competitiveness and future success.
