This case study details the installation of Enpure™ and Enfield™ piping systems at Orange Coast College for a new chemistry laboratory. The project, part of a campus revitalization effort, involves a 43,800-square-foot building designed to enhance laboratory capacity by over 60%. The plumbing system was critical due to the corrosive materials used in chemistry labs, necessitating high-quality piping solutions. Pro-Craft was selected as the plumbing contractor, collaborating with IPEX to implement specialized piping systems. The study outlines the specific requirements for the plumbing installation, including the use of Enpure™ High-Purity Polypropylene Pipe for deionized water and Enfield™ Electrofusion Polypropylene Acid Waste Piping for corrosive waste. IPEX provided comprehensive support, including technical specifications and training for the installation process. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, showcasing the importance of effective collaboration and customer service in achieving project goals.
