This document is a case study detailing the implementation of CMMI Performance Solutions at the Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC). Established in 2007, PSBC focuses on providing financial services to various customer segments, including agriculture and small to medium enterprises. The Software R&D Center at PSBC has developed a measurement and effectiveness system based on CMMI requirements, which has enhanced the visibility of the development process. The case study outlines how PSBC utilized Verification and Validation (VV) to standardize test defect management and improve productivity. It also describes the implementation of Managing Performance and Measurement (MPM) to track developer workloads and identify inefficiencies. Additionally, the document highlights the adoption of online task management tools and professional code review processes to optimize development practices. The results indicate significant improvements in engineering quality and development efficiency, including a decrease in programmatic issue tickets and defect density, alongside increases in labor output efficiency and defect resolution rates.
