This document is a Total Economic Impact™ study commissioned by Apple, conducted by Forrester Consulting, which evaluates the potential return on investment (ROI) for enterprises deploying Mac devices. The study outlines how investing in Mac devices can enhance digital employee experiences (DEX), improve security, and increase productivity while reducing total employee device costs. Forrester interviewed decision-makers from nine organizations and surveyed over 290 individuals to gather insights on the benefits, costs, and risks associated with Mac device investment. The findings indicate significant quantified benefits, including reduced support and management costs, avoided hardware and software expenses, and improved employee productivity. The analysis reveals a net present value (NPV) of $49.40 million and an ROI of 186% over five years. Additionally, the study discusses unquantified benefits such as extended device lifetime and improved brand reputation. The document serves as a framework for organizations to assess the financial impact of adopting Mac devices.
