This document is a case study detailing the digital product management lifecycle enhancement for a leading American baby and children's apparel brand. The brand faced challenges with traditional product development processes that limited traceability and accessibility, expert-dependent workflows that hindered agility, and manual process hand-offs that increased time-to-insight and concept development. To address these issues, ITC Infotech conducted strategy workshops to identify gaps and relevant use cases. The collaboration led to the establishment of proof of concepts (POCs) focusing on consumer sensing, trend analysis, and competition analysis. A visualization strategy was developed through assortment planning, and a commercialization model was designed using Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM). The implementation of a digital concept to commercialization process, supported by Generative AI, resulted in a significant reduction in time to market from 18 months to 6 months and a 15% improvement in full price sell-through.
