Migration to Windchill+ 12.1.2 SaaS Platform

This document is a technical report detailing the migration of the legacy Windchill 11.1 environment to the SaaS-based Windchill+ 12.1.2 platform. The primary objective of this migration was to preserve and standardize existing customizations while integrating essential tools such as SolidWorks Worker and Office Worker. The report outlines the configuration of Single Sign-On (SSO) with the client’s Identity Provider to facilitate a seamless transition for approximately 320 users. Key processes included executing data migration, standardizing custom code, and ensuring full system functionality during the upgrade. The document also describes the implementation of comprehensive issue monitoring and testing to maintain system stability throughout the migration. The successful deployment of the Windchill+ 12.1.2 platform is highlighted, with an emphasis on delivering a stable and scalable Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment that minimizes operational disruption and aligns with SaaS standards.
